Apple Betty Crisp
Ingredients
- 309 g Tree Top Apple Dices, Low Moisture or Evaporated
- 21 g Tree Top Apple Juice Concentrate reconstituted with 89 g water
- 69 g sugar
- 2.30 g cinnamon
- 1.50 g salt
- 198 g dry bread crumbs
- 42 g butter, melted
Directions
Rehydrate apples in reconstituted Tree Top Apple Juice Concentrate for at least 5 minutes. Drain well.
Mix sugar, cinnamon and salt. Put layer of crumbs in greased 8”x8” baking dish. Spread drained apples over bread crumbs; sprinkle with sugar mixture. Continue to layer, topping with layer of crumbs. Pour melted butter over crumbs. Cover dish and bake at 375 F for 40 minutes. Remove cover last 10 minutes to brown the top.
