Ingredients
Apple Oatmeal Cake
- 46 g Tree Top Low Moisture 3/8″ Dice (186’s) rehydrated in 39.50 g Tree Top Apple Juice Concentrate (reconstituted with 197.50 g water)
- 85 g oatmeal
- 201 g granulated sugar
- 111 g butter, softened
- 220 g brown ugar
- 192 g all-purpose flour
- 3 g salt
- 4.60 g baking soda
- 4.60 g cinnamon
- 100 g egg
- 355 g boiling water
Topping
- 99 g coarsely chopped nuts
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 85 g butter, melted
- 71 g shredded coconut
- 110 g brown sugar
- 61 g milk
- 4.20 g vanilla
Directions
Apple Oatmeal Cake:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease 9″ x13″ pan.
Rehydrate apples in reconstituted apple juice concentrate for at least 5 minutes.
Drain well.
Mix all ingredients together and pour into pan.
Topping:
Mix together and pour over top of cake batter.
Bake for 45 minutes or until pick inserted into middle of cake comes out clean.
Cool.
