Pear Walnut Bread
Ingredients
- 18 g Tree Top Pear Juice Concentrate
- 268 g Tree Top Pear Puree
- 224 g all-purpose flour
- 6.90 g baking powder
- 9 g salt
- 1.50 g cinnamon
- 1.20 g baking soda
- 201 g sugar
- 113 g butter, softened
- 100 g egg
- 61 g walnuts, coarsely chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Dust with flour; tap out excess.
Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and baking soda.
Beat together sugar and butter at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in pear juice concentrate.
At low speed, beat flour mixture, half a cup at a time, into sugar mixture until well blended. Stir in pear puree and nuts. Spoon batter into prepared pan; smooth top.
Bake loaf until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 55 to 60 minutes.
Transfer pan to a wire rack to cool slightly. Loosen loaf by running a metal spatula around sides of pan. Turn out onto rack to cool completely.
